Muddy Fork is Bloomington’s premier artisan bread bakery.  We make our bread by hand in a brick, wood-fired oven on our five acre farm in northeast Monroe County.  We are committed to using locally-grown and organic ingredients.  All our whole-grain flour, honey, butternut squash and eggs are locally grown and raised.  We specialize in naturally-leavened (sourdough) bread, a process that requires patience and time, but results in superior flavor, texture, nutrition, and keeping quality of the bread.

We are now offering bread subscriptions.  With our convenient online management system you can purchase and manage your subscriptions through our website.  You choose your bread varieties from week to week and you can cancel your subscription when you are away and receive those loaves a different week.

We also have a passive solar greenhouse and two acres of bottomland pasture.  We specialize in growing cold-weather and storage crops.  We sell our produce directly to our subscribers as well as to Feast Bakery Cafe.

All our baked goods are available at the Bloomington Community Farmers Market, Bloomington Winter Farmers Market, Indy Winter Farmers Market, Feast Bakery Cafe, Bloomingfoods East and the Grant Street Inn.  Look for our new line of sandwiches at the Bloomington Community Farmers Market in the 2012 season!
