
Join us for an evening of local food and local farmers! Enjoy a four-course meal catered by Harvest Lodge Catering featuring ingredients provided by farms from the Local Growers' Guild. Hear stories from the folks who grew the food. Learn about the Local Growers Guild and all the exciting projects they are working on. Participate in a silent auction benefiting the Simply Healthy Fair. Tickets are $35 and are available right here and also at Bloomingfoods and the Wandering Turtle Art Gallery. The event starts at 6:00pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Bloomington, Indiana.

Thursday, November 13th, listen to visionary small business owner Judy Wicks speak about the importance of local economies and ethical businesses. Judy is the founder of Philadelphia's 25-year-old White Dog Cafe, a progressive restaurant emphasizing local foods and social activism. She is also the co-founder of the nationwide Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE).

Saturday, November 15th, attend a day filled with Simply Healthy Workshops covering simple living, local food, and aging well at the Unitarian Universalist Church. A wide variety of topics will be covered - Yoga from the Inside Out, Nutrition for Disease Prevention, Breaking the Death Habit, Bellydancing, The Importance of Local Food, and many many more - as well as activities for kids, healthy local food prepared by Middle Way Food Works, and an expo hall featuring health and wellness vendors, information booths, tastings and demonstrations. Tickets are $11 ($9 for students and seniors).
Conclude the weekend with a Healing Sounds Concert featuring Bil Whitefeather, Native American Flutes , Ryan Anderson, Sacred Healing Rhythms, Dark Side Tribal Belly Dancers, Baraka, Janiece Jaffee, Patricia C. Coleman and Paul Swanson. Tap your foot, laugh, sing along, dance or even cry with joy. Healing Sound Concert offers a variety of sounds and musical ideas with the intent of putting forth healing vibrations. The concert will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Bloomington and begin at 7:00 on Saturday, November 15th. Tickets are $11 in advance, $13 at the door.
